I'm Alex Bell and this blog will be following my adventures in education through the classroom and my first time out student teaching.
I completed my undergrad at University of Manitoba and ended up with a 4 year BSc. Math Major with Statistics focus and Geography Minor after dabbling in a few other streams. I ran cross country and track (800m, 1500m, 3000m were my specialties) during my time there. I enjoyed my time there, especially my time as a student athlete. But I am excited for the changes a new campus and city will bring.
Outside of running I also enjoy swimming, cycling, skiing (water, downhill, and mostly cross county), and triathlons. I managed my first half ironman this summer and am excited for more! I love anything that involves being outside, especially hiking, canoeing and of course camping. As well I have a passion for photography, and generally have a camera on me at all times when I'm get to be outside! In my downtime I enjoy reading, and painting or sketching.
